Caesars Las Vegas Pools: A Guide to Garden of the Gods

by Mike Waldron

Last Updated on 11/11/2024 by Mike Waldron

Caesars’ Garden of the Gods pool venue consists of 7 distinct pool areas with a variety of reserved seating options. Find out which one is best for you.

  • Address: 3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109,
  • Phone: 702-731-7280

Map/Directions

At Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, you will be treated to a collection of seven distinct pools, each bathed in sunshine and buzzing with energy. The Garden of the Gods pool oasis promises a refreshing retreat on a hot summer day.

Each of the seven pools felt as if it had its own personality. I will try to provide you with information that will help guide you to the pool that best fits your needs.

Pool Season

The pools at Caesars Palace are open seasonally, typically from mid-March to late November. Exact opening and closing dates are weather-dependent. All seven pools are usually in operation during the peak pool season, however, not all of the pools are open for the entire pool season. Please check with the hotel directly if you are interested in a specific pool’s operating schedule.

Pool Hours

Pool Access

Pool access is complimentary for those guests staying at Caesars Palace. Non-guests are able to gain access to the pool with a daybed or cabana rental.

Pool floats and toys are not permitted in the pool area. Registered service animals are the only animals permitted on the pool deck.

Hotel Resort Fees

There is a daily resort fee of $49.95 is charged for the use of hotel amenities, including the pool. Caesars Rewards members who are Diamond or above will have these resort fees waived.

Number of Pools

There are a total of seven pools at Caesars Palace.

For information on properties with more modest pool decks check out my post with overviews of all Caesars Las Vegas Hotel Pools.

Adult Pool

There are 2 pools which are available to those guests who are 21 and over. One of these is the Fortuna pool. As this pool has swim up Blackjack tables, it is considered a gaming area and therefore no minors are permitted. The second adult-only pool is the Venus Pool. This pool is designated as the Day Club and Night Swim pool.

Heated / Unheated

The pools are heated to a comfortable temperature.

Number of Jacuzzis

There are numerous hot tubs around the various pool decks.

Wheelchair Accessibility

The pool decks are wheelchair accessible and are equipped with mobility lifts.

Pool Vibe

Each pool tends to have its’ own unique feel and vibe to it.

Seven Distingue Garden of the Gods Pools

Temple Pool

Temple Pool with a statue of Caesar in the centre of the pool. Red daybeds are in the foreground.

The Temple Pool is the first pool you see as you enter the Garden Of the Gods pool complex. It is also one of the most photographed pools in the complex. For these reasons, there is a fair bit of foot traffic around the pool, so if you are looking for a quiet and private place to enjoy some sunshine this may not be your first pick of pools. On the other hand, if you want to grab some sun around one of Las Vegas’s most iconic pools, then this may be the place for you to be and be seen.

Neptune Pool

Neptune Pool with Greek building in the background.

The Neptune Pool is located right behind the Temple Pool. It is a relatively large but shallow rectangular pool. It is a quieter pool area than the Temple Pool but still quite popular with families. If you want to be seated poolside you will need to purchase a daybed as there are no complimentary loungers available close to the water’s edge.

Fortuna Pool

Cascading waterfall into Fortuna pool. Swim-up Blackjack tables can be seen in the photo.

The Fortuna Pool is located directly behind the Neptune Pool. It is the smallest pool in the complex. This pool offers several swim-up Blackjack tables to choose from. As the Fortuna Pool is considered a “gaming area”, you must be 21 years of age or older to enjoy this pool. This pool also features a fantastic waterfall feature which not only looks cool but provides an additional cooling affect, especially if you are under the covered area next to the Blackjack tables. There is also a nice shaded undercover bar located just steps from this pool.

Apollo Pool

Apollo pool with red cushioned daybeds around the pool.

The Apollo Pool is left of the Fortuna Pool if you are looking towards the bar. I was there relatively early in the day and there were loads of complimentary loungers available. There are only a few daybeds along the pool edge so your complimentary loungers are located a bit closer to the pool than at several of the other pools. This pool is a bit tucked out of the way so if you are looking for an all-aged pool that is a bit quieter, this may be your best pick.

Jupiter Pool

Jupiter pool with cabanas at the far end of the pool.

The Jupiter Pool is to the right of the Fortuna Pool if you are looking towards the bar. This is also a pretty mellow pool environment, although it was mid-week just before noon when I was there. The Jupiter Pool has cabanas, including a cabana for poolside massages. Now that’s a nice way to spend some time by a Las Vegas pool. As there are no daybeds lining the poolside the complimentary loungers have easy and direct access to the pool.

Bacchus Pool

The Bacchus pool is up a set of stairs by the Fortuna pool. This pool is reserved for those Caesars Rewards members who have achieved the invite-only top-tier level of Seven Seas, or for those guests deemed VIP for other reasons. There are actually two pools that make up the Bacchus pool area. There are no complimentary loungers around this pool. For seating, you have the option of renting daybeds or Cabanas. I must say the cabanas looked extremely upscale and comfortable.

Venus Pool

Venus pool with canopy daybeds lining the the pool.

The Venus Pool is located to your right as you exit the hotel and enter the Garden of the Gods pool area. This is the other Adult Only pool within the Garden of the Gods complex. The Venus Pool is the only pool where non-guests can pay an admission to attend. Daybeds and cabanas are available for those who really want to make the most of this adult-only pool area.

The Venus Pool is also open on Friday through Sunday evenings for the Venus Night Swim events. This requires a separate entrance fee from the Venus Day swim.

The pool deck at the new Fontainebleau Las Vegas also has seven pools which are certainly worthy of your consideration.

Pool Towels

Complimentary pool towels are provided.

Loungers

Complimentary loungers are available on a first come basis around every pool with the exceptions of the Bacchus and Venus pools.

Reserved Seating Options

The Garden of Gods pool venue can become quite busy, particularly on weekends and holidays. If you want to be assured of seating at the pool of your choice, you may want to consider one of the reserved seating options that are available.

Be sure to check in to your reserved seating by 11:00 am.

Reserved seating prices at Caesars, as with most Las Vegas Resorts, can be extremely dynamic, particularly on weekends and holidays. Below I have included sample pricing for each type of seating option.

The prices in the charts below were as of March 25, 2024, for Wednesday, May 15, and Saturday, May 18, 2024. Each seating option provides a certain number of pool passes for the day and I have included these numbers in the chart.

The prices below are rental fees only and are not part of a food or beverage credit. All food and beverages are paid for separately. Please remember that these prices can be very dynamic. Please click the link for up-to-date reserved seating pricing and availability for your specific day(s).
