Pool Season

The NoMad pool season typically runs from April Through October. Currently, however, the NoMad pool is remaining open while the Park MGM pools are being resurfaced. The tentative timeline for the NoMad pool to close for the season is the first week of December. At that time NoMad guests are invited to use the pool at the Park MGM.

Pool Hours

Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Sunday9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday
9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Hours are subject to change

Pool Access

Access is restricted to guests staying at the NoMad. My MGM Rewards Platinum card was, however, enough to allow me to gain access to this private pool.

To access the pool you will need to use the elevator which is down a short hallway on your right as you enter the Park MGM pool area. You can access the fourth-floor pool level without a room key, but you will have to show your key once you enter the NoMad pool area.

If you appreciate hotel pools with exclusive access, you may also want to consider the Sky Pool at the Aria and the Delano Beach Club over at Mandalay Bay. Both of these pools have strict restrictions on entrance requirements. The highlighted links will take you to my recent posts on their respective pool decks.

Hotel Resort Fees

A daily resort fee of $42.00 will be charged for the use of hotel amenities, including the pool. MGM Rewards members with Gold Status and above will have these fees waived.

Lifeguard

Lifeguards are on duty.

Number of Pools

There is one pool at this resort.

To find out which MGM resorts have multiple pools, consider reading this post.

Heated / Unheated

The outdoor pool is heated.

Wheelchair Accessibility

The pool deck is wheelchair accessible. A mobility lift is available.

Pool Vibe

This a very tranquil and peaceful pool area. If you want a more energetic pool experience then I suggest you check out the Park MGM pools, which NoMad guests have complimentary access to.

Pool Towels

Complimentary pool towels are provided.

Loungers

Complimentary loungers are available on a first-come basis. Even with the complimentary loungers being as comfortable as they are, you can increase your pool experience comfort level by purchasing a reserved seating option.

A variety of reserved seating options are available by the Nomad swimming pool. Reserved seating guarantees you pool entrance even on days when the maximum capacity of the pool deck has been reached. It also ensures that all of your group members are seated together.

As with most reserved seating prices in Las Vegas, pricing can be very dynamic, particularly on weekends and holidays. Below are some sample pricing for the various reserved seating options available. As pricing is dynamic, always check the current NoMad reserved seating pricing and availability for the date that you are interested in.

Prices below were as of March 16, 2024, for the date of Saturday, May 18, 2024. These prices are rental fees only, which means that any food and beverages ordered are billed in addition to the rental fee.

do you have any advice about gazebo vs cabana vs grand cabana vs terrace cabana? I’ve not been and don’t know the difference- struggling to find info about what’s what. All are available to book on the day I’m looking, but feel like I’m just guessing…. trying to watch a bunch of youtube walkthroughs but no-one is telling! thanks in advance

Hi Kyle, cabanas are more private than gazebos and are located at the far end of the pool while the gazebos are more open and are located along the side of the pool. The Gazebo maxes out at 6 guests while the Grand Gazebo allows for 10 guests. I was just at the NoMad this past weekend but can not really remember the Terrace Cabana. I suggest you phone the hotel and ask for the concierge, they are very helpful and will find you the exact information you need to help you make the best decision. Enjoy your trip.
