The California Hotel Casino Las Vegas Pool

The rooftop pool at the California Hotel and Casino is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the Fremont Street activities.

Pool Season

The pool season typically runs from mid-March thru mid-October. As these dates are weather dependent please contact the hotel directly for exact opening and closing dates. As a note, due to the much cooler than normal Spring, the pool did not open until May in 2023.

Pool Hours

The pool is open daily from 8:00am until 8:00pm. These hours are subject to change due to inclimate weather.

Pool Access

Pool access is restricted to those guests staying at the California, Main Street or the Freemont hotel. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Hotel Resort Fees

A daily resort fee of $29.37 will be charged for the use of hotel amenities, including the pool.

Lifeguard

There is no lifeguard on duty.

Number of Pools

There is one rooftop pool at this hotel The pool measures 20 feet by 40 feet.

Number of Jacuzzis

There is no hot tub on the pool deck.

Wheelchair Access

The pool deck is wheelchair accessible. A mobility lift is available.

Pool Vibe

This tends to be a pretty mellow pool during the week, however, the energy can really increase on weekends and holidays.

Pool Towels

Complimentary pool towels are available. They can be picked up on the right hand side as you enter onto the pool deck.

Loungers

Complimentary loungers are available on a first come basis. These are actually more comfortable than the standard complimentary loungers available at most Las Vegas pools.

Daybeds

Daybeds are not available at this resort.

Cabanas

Cabana rentals are not available at the California Las Vegas pool.

Food and Drink Service.

There is no food or drink service available at the pool.

Outside Food and Drinks

Outside food and beverage are permitted on the pool deck. Glass containers are prohibited.

Pool deck showers are available.

Pool deck restrooms/changerooms are available.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted on the pool deck.
