All 3 pool decks at the Venetian/Palazzo have something to offer. Find the best one for you. Or perhaps it’s the energy of Tao Beach Dayclub which best suits you.

Pool Season

The pools at the Venetian are heated to allow for swimming year-round. There are, however, reduced hours and services during the cooler winter months.

For other IHG operated hotel pools which operate year-round, check out the highlighted link.

Another option would be to check out the year-round pools at Resorts World. The link will take you to my post covering the main points of the Resorts World pools and pool decks.

Pool Hours

Pool hours vary by season and are subject to change due to weather conditions. Please use the pool schedule below as a guide only as hours are subject to change. Please contact the hotel directly for exact pool hours for the dates of your visit.

Pool Access

Pool access is strictly reserved for current hotel guests only. On one trip I tried to gain access after a Canyon Ranch Spa appointment, but even after gaining access to the pool level floor I was quickly turned away at the pool’s entrance.

While the Venezia Pool is officially reserved for guests in the Venezia tower, my Palazzo tower key card did allow me access.

Please note that all reserved seating options are also restricted to current hotel guests.

If you are staying at the Venetian/Palazzo but would like to check out the Oasis Pool deck at the new Fontainebleau, pool access will be made available via a Day Pass. The Oasis Pool Deck is scheduled to open in the Spring and the Fontainebleau is promoting a very upscale pool deck experience.

If you are curious to know what the new Fontainebleau Pool Deck is offering, check out my recent blog post https://midlifemiles.com/pools/fontainebleau-las-vegas-pool/

Hotel Resort Fees

A daily resort fee of $51.02 will be charged for the use of hotel amenities, including the pool.

Lifeguard

Lifeguards are on duty at the Palazzo and Venetian pool decks but not at the Venezia pool deck.

Number of Pools

The Venetian Pool deck consists of 3 pools. The Palazzo has 5 pools, plus the Tao Beach Dayclub pool. The Venezia pool deck has one pool. The Venezia pool is often referred to as the “Secret Pool”, as it is hidden away off of the 10th floor.

Heated / Unheated

The pool are heated to allow for year-round swimming.

Number of Jacuzzis

There are multiple hot tubs at this resort.

Wheelchair Accessibility

All pool decks are wheelchair accessible. Mobility lifts are available.

Pool Vibe

I found there are three different vibes around the Venetian Las Vegas Pool decks.

Venezia Pool Vibe

The Venezia pool deck is by far the most tranquil. It is a pool deck with minimal services as well as minimal direct sun. You might get a few rays of sunshine for a short time during the summer but that is about it. It is supposed to be restricted for guests staying at the Venezia tower and few other people even know about it, so it is not a very busy pool.

If you want a tranquil pool experience without the harsh Vegas sun beating down on you then this may be the pool for you.

Main Venetian and Palazzo Pool Decks’ Vibes

I did not notice any real difference in the vibes between the Venetian and Palazzo pool decks over my past several visits to this pool complex. I have to say that most of my experiences have been around the Palazzo pools, with only the occasional walk over to the Venetian side to check things out. I have found both pool areas to be quite tranquil and calming.

The guests generally seem to be looking for an upscale pool experience and these pool decks certainly do not disappoint.

If you are interested in some direct comparisons on a number of features between the Venetian, Palazzo, Resorts World, Wynn and Encore to the new Fontainebleau pool deck, then check out my recent comparative pool deck post.

Tao Beach Dayclub Vibe

Tao Beach Dayclub is the 21 and over adult only party pool located at the Venetian / Palazzo. The vibe here is definitely high energy. The electrified vibe is ramped up by special guests DJ’s including, Chris Lake, Fisher and Alesso. Those fortunate enough to have a form of reserved seating will certainly be impressed by the level of service and attention.

For more detailed information on Tao Beach, check out my post discussing the 2024 pool party season.

Pool Towels

Complimentary pool towels are available.

Loungers

Complimentary loungers are available on all three pool decks, however these can fill up quickly, particularly on the busier weekends and holidays.

If you have a larger sized party which you would like to ensure are all seated together you may want to either arrive at the pool just as it opens to secure these free loungers, or opt to purchase reserved loungers which are available at both the Palazzo and Venetian pool decks.

There are a variety of reserved seating options available. Reserved seating pricing in Las Vegas can be very dynamic, particularly on weekends and holidays. Be sure to check the Venetian’s reserved seating reservations page for current pricing and availability.

For informational purposes only I have completed the table below showing the reserved seating options and pricing that were posted as of October 2, 2023 for the midweek date of Wednesday October 11 and the weekend date of Saturday October 14, 2023. I have also included the capacity for each type of reserved seating.

As with many resorts in Las Vegas, the Venetian charges a rental fee as well as a Minimum Food and Beverage Spend for daybeds and cabanas reservation type. This means you and your party will be charged this minimum spend even if you do not meet this spending threshold. Lounger rental prices are strictly a rental fee with no F&B min. attached

Food and Drink Service.

You will find excellent food and beverage service offered via the Capri Poolside Restaurant and Bar as well as Spritz Restaurant and Bar. Enjoy elevated breakfast and lunch menu items from the Capri either poolside or on the patio overlooking the Palazzo pool deck.

If you choose patio seating then you will encounter the design elements of which were inspired by the amazing orange sunsets and stunningly deeps blue sea as seen from the Italian island of Capri, the restaurant and bar’s namesake.

An alternative experience is Spritz Restaurant and Bar. I found this poolside restaurant to be a bit more casual, with a more Malibu feel to it. Here you can either grab a bar stool or relax on a raised daybed while watching the activities on the pool deck. Their food menu is pretty similar to that of the Capri Restaurant but they seemed to have a larger selection of drinks menu items meant for poolside enjoyment.
