Number of Pools

There are two pools on The Scene pool deck.

Lifeguard

Lifeguards are on duty.

Adult Pool

There is one pool for those guests 21 years of age and over. For those guests 21 and over looking for an alternative adult pool, you can always check out Influence, The Pool at The Linq. If you are looking for a larger alternate Adult Pool, then you may want to look at the Go Pool at the Flamingo.

Pool Deck Gambling

There are blackjack tables located in the adult pool area. If you are looking for some swim-up blackjack then I suggest you check out the Fortuna Pool at Caesars Palace.

Heated / Unheated

The pools are heated to a comfortable temperature.

Number of Jacuzzis

There are 2 hot tubs at this resort.

Wheelchair Accessibility

The pools decks are wheelchair accessible and mobility lifts are available.

Pool Vibe

Family Pool

The family pool is quite large so there is lots of room for kids to splash around in while leaving a good part of the pool rather quiet. It appeared that quite a few guests who could have gone to the 21 and over pool decided to stick with the closer general use pool. It was nice to hear kids being kids, but it was not overrun with screaming children.

Adult Pool

During this trip I was at the Planet Hollywood pools around noon mid-week. I am sure my experience on a weekend will be quite different. During this trip the adult pool was rather quiet with most people enjoying the sun or having quiet conversations in the pool.

Once the DJ’s start spinning some tunes, the mellow adult pool deck I experienced is sure to turn into an electrifying party. With DJ’s Justin Sayne,Aztech and TA4 taking to the DJ both Fridays thru Sundays a good time is sure to be had. Check out the Events Calendar for more details.

FlowRider

Have what could be an experience of a lifetime and try your hand on the Strip’s only professional free-standing wave, the FlowRider. Enjoy a FlowRider day pass weekdays for $60.00 or weekends for $75.00. I didn’t have the nerve to give a try on this trip. But on my next trip out I might just give it a shot.

I saw some good wipeouts but no none seemed to get hurt while I was watching. There is a bar adjacent to the FlowRider for those needing a little liquid courage. I am more likely to visit the bar right after my adventure.

Pool Towels

Complementary pool towels are available.

Loungers

Complimentary loungers are available on a first come basis. These free loungers can get snagged up rather quickly especially on weekends and holidays. In order to guarantee loungers, especially together, you may choose to reserve a lounger(s) in advance. There is a maximum of two lounge chairs per reservation. I personally have found it much easier securing free loungers at the Rio Pools, even later in the day. If that is factor in your pool choice it’s worth considering the Rio.

All forms of reserved seating in Vegas can have very dynamic pricing. The sample prices listed below were as of March 17, 2024, for the midweek date of Wednesday May 15 and the Weekend date of Saturday May 18, 2024. Be sure to check with the hotel directly for exact pricing for your specific date. Check current pricing for Loungers, Daybeds and Cabanas

Cabanas

Looking into a cabana you can see a couch and a mounted TV. There are 2 loungers in front of the cabana.

For the ultimate pool experience upgrade to a cabana. It’s nice to have a “home base” from which to enjoy the pool experience from. It’s nice to know that you can leave for whatever length of time you want and you still have the same place to come back to. You will receive excellent service from the cocktail staff and have a little sanctuary in what can sometimes be an electrifying environment.

Below is a similar chart as that above providing sample pricing for cabanas for both midweek and weekend dates. Also provided is the number of guest passes which come with each cabana rental. Please remember to check the link above for the current pricing for the date which you are interested in.
