Map/Directions

Pool Season

At least one pool operates year-round, weather permitting. Use this guide to see what other MGM pools are open year-round.

March 1 was the 2024 pool season’s opening date as all three pools were in operation.

Pool Hours

The pool is open daily from 9:00am until 5:00pm.

Pool Access

Complimentary pool access for registered hotel guests. Non-guests can gain pool access by paying for reserved seating.

The NoMad Pool is located just a short elevator ride away from the pool deck entrance, but it is reserved for NoMad guests only. If you are interested in the NoMad pool, check out my post https://midlifemiles.com/pools/nomad-las-vegas-pool/.

Hotel Resort Fees

There is a daily resort fee of $42.00 charged for the use of hotel amenities, including the pool. MGM Rewards Gold Members and above will have these fees waived.

Number of Pools

There are three swimming pools at the Park MGM.

If you prefer a simpler pool deck with only one pool, then check out my post covering the overview of the New York New York pool deck.

Heated / Unheated

The pools are heated to a comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Number of Jacuzzis

There is a hot tub located by the South Pool.

Wheelchair Access

The pool decks are wheelchair accessible. Mobility lifts are available.

Pool Vibe

There are three pools which make up the Park MGM pool complex. All three of these pools take on their own pool vibe.

South Pool

The South Pool is the main general use swimming pool at the Park MGM. It has the largest selection of complimentary loungers. It had the most family activity of the two “all age” pools while I was there. Reserved loungers with sun umbrellas and pods are both available to rent by this pool.

North Pool

The North Pool generally has a more tranquil vibe than does the South Pool. There are more reserved seating options at this pool, including cabanas and daybeds but has fewer complimentary loungers. The availability of lilypad loungers is always a nice feature, however they tend to get occupied rather quickly.

The North Pool is open to guests of all ages, however, I noticed many more families at the South Pool.

East Pool (Adults 18 and over)

The East Pool is restricted to those guests 18 years of age and over. This pool offers a variety of reserved seating options including premium loungers, daybeds and cabanas. The East Pool Bar is conveniently located very close by.

I was at this pool quite early on in the day and it was pretty tame. I am not sure what the energy level is like as the day goes on. This is particularly true of Saturdays when the energy level is amplified by the East Pool DJ.

Other MGM properties with 18+ pools include the Excalibur pool deck as well as the MGM Grand Pool Complex. Clicking the highlighted links will take you to my blog posts which I have written after recently visiting both of these pools. I hope you find the information useful.

Pool Towels

Complimentary pool towels are available.

Loungers

Complimentary loungers are available at each of the three pools. The South Pool has the largest number of these loungers. Each pool also provides the opportunity to rent reserved loungers which come in pairs and include sun umbrellas. The South Pool also provides the option of renting a “Park Pod”. A Park Pod is shown to the right. Some Park Pods come with a retractable sun shade.

As with most reserved seating in Las Vegas, Park MGM pricing can be quite dynamic particularly on busy weekends and holidays. I have provided sample pricing for of the various types of reserved seating available. These prices were as of March 16, 2024 for the midweek date of Wednesday May 15, 2024 and for the weekend date of Saturday May 18, 2024.

These prices are the rental fee only. This means that any food and beverages ordered will be charged in addition to the rental fees. Each rental allows for a certain number of non-guests to gain access to the pool deck. This number has also been provided.

For all forms of reserved seating be sure to check the current pricing and availability for the date which you are interested in.

Sample Lounger and Park Pod Pricing

South Pool Park Pod3$75.00$100.00
South Pool Lounger2$25.00$50.00
North Pool Lounger2$25.00$50.00
East Pool Lounger2$25.00$50.00

Daybeds

Daybeds are are a great way to improve you level of comfort while spending time by the pool. Daybeds are larger and more comfortable than daybeds and provide additional space between you and other pool guests. An electronic safe is built into the base of these daybeds. A very nice feature.

I have used the same dates for the daybed pricing samples as I had for the lounger and pod chart. Remember to always check for the current pricing as they can change quickly. Daybeds are not available at the South Pool.

South Pool Daybednot available not available not available
North Pool Daybed3$75.00$100.00
East Pool Daybed3$75.00$100.00

Cabanas

Looking into a cabana you can see two green loungers on the outside and the misting system in operation.

For that ultimate pool experience consider renting a cabana for the day. Cabanas are a great way to have that “home base” feeling as you explore the activities around the pool decks.

Cabanas are equipped with a misting system for those hot Vegas days. I was able to feel the cooling impact of the misting system well before I entered the cabana. This is a fantastic feature of the cabanas.

The North Pool has included the option of renting what they call a “Park Bungalow”, which I must say is a pretty impressive 15 person capacity poolside Cabana type structure.

I have again used he same dates as above for completing the sample pricing listed below. Be sure to use the link above for the pricing for your specific date.
