The New York New York’s 2024 pool season has begun. You may want to consider reserved seating on busy holiday weekends.

Pool Season
New York New York’s Las Vegas 2024 pool season kicked-off on Friday March 8, 2024.
Pool Hours
The pool will start with its daily operating hours being from 10:00am until 5:00pm. These hours will be updated as new information is released.
Pool Access
Pool access is for registered hotel guests of New York New York and the NoMad hotels only. This policy is strictly enforced. Not even my MGM Platinum card could get me past security. The pool deck is not large by Las Vegas standards. In order to make sure the pool deck does not get over crowded there is a capacity limit which is enforced. Those guest with reserved seating or a cabana rental are not impacted by this capacity limit.

There is a daily resort fee of $42.00 charged for the use of hotel amenities, including the pool.

Lifeguards are on duty.
Number of Pools
There is one swimming pool at this resort. If you like the idea of a pool deck with just one pool but also like the idea of semi-private plunge pools being available, then check out my post on the Vdara pool deck.

Heated / Unheated
The pool is heated to a comfortable temperature.
Number of Jacuzzis
There is one hot tub on the pool deck.
Wheelchair Access
The pool deck is wheelchair accessible. A mobility lift is available.
Pool Vibe
The pool is family friendly. The music can get a bit loud at times considering this is not a party pool.
Adult Pool
There is no “adults only” pool at the this resort.
If you are looking for pool decks with 18+ adult pools, you may want to consider the Excalibur pool deck or the Park MGM pool deck. These hotels are located right next to the New York New York. Keep in mind this is Las Vegas so right next door could still mean a 15 minute walk. The links above will take you to blog posts I have written after recently visiting both of these hotel pools.

Loungers
Complimentary pool loungers are available on a first come basis. Loungers are also available to reserve in advance for a fee. If you plan on getting to the pool later on in the day and want to be guaranteed poolside loungers together with your friends or family members, you may want to consider this reserved seating option.
As reserved seating pricing at most Las Vegas hotel pools are very dynamic, please check the current pricing and availability for the date you are looking for. Below you will find the pricing for a reserved lounger as of March 17, 202, for the midweek rate for Wednesday May 15, and the weekend rate for Saturday May 18, 2024. As prices do fluctuate please just use these prices as a guide.

Daybeds
There are no daybed available to rent at this hotel.

Cabanas
Cabanas are available to rent. If you really want to upgrade your pool experience then a cabana rental may be for you. As cabanas are able to accommodate up to 10 guests, they can be quite cost effective. Cabanas are a great way to have a “home base” while enjoying the pool deck activities.
Pricing is a rental fee only. This means that any food and beverages ordered are billed in addition to the rental fee. As with other reserved seating, pricing can be quite dynamic, particularly on weekends and holidays. Use the link above to check the cabana pricing for the date which you are interested in.
